Project and Automation Engineer Shifts – Days We are looking for a motivated Project and Automation Engineer to join a market leading company. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring all project and automation work is completed to the best of your ability. With progressive development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. The position will appeal to a Project and Automation Engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company. Design, fabricate, and install mechanical improvements, rigs, or production aids Build and wire control panels, including VFDs, relays, contactors and PLCs Programme or modify PLCs and HMIs (Siemens, Omron, etc.) Lead or support capex and process improvement projects Work with Production to trial and optimise automation upgrades Maintain records and provide documentation for installations or improvements Help install and commission new machinery and line changes Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards Solid experience in a controls or automation engineering role within FMCG or food production Mechanical know-how and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG welding, cutting, etc.) PLC and HMI knowledge – comfortable editing and troubleshooting logic Food hygiene, HACCP or BRC understanding is a bonus…
