Associate Director (Building Surveying) – Manchester – Up to £80K DOE

Senior leadership opportunity within an established commercial property consultancy, delivering high-profile office refurbishments and fit-outs across Manchester while supporting the growth of a developing Building Consultancy team.


This role combines project leadership with professional building surveying advice. You will oversee commercial workspace fit-outs, capital works and landlord-led refurbishments, alongside delivering acquisition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations advice to investors, landlords and occupiers.


The Role

  • Lead project management and contract administration on commercial refurbishments and fit-outs
  • Manage projects from feasibility through to on-site delivery
  • Deliver professional instructions including acquisition surveys and dilapidations
  • Provide strategic technical advice across commercial property portfolios
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to business development activity


About You

  • MRICS qualified with strong post-qualification experience in commercial building surveying
  • Proven track record across both project and professional work
  • Experienced Contract Administrator under JCT
  • Commercially aware, confident with clients and comfortable leading teams
