About the Role



This role is ideal for a Senior Care Assistant with care home experience who is confident leading shifts and delivering high‑quality elderly care.



Responsibilities



  • Provide person‑centred elderly care
  • Lead and support Care Assistants on shift
  • Complete care plans and risk assessments
  • Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns
  • Support medication administration
  • Ensure CQC compliance and care standards


Qualifications



  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant
  • Care home background (elderly care essential)
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • (Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards)


Required Skills



Experience as a Senior Care Assistant, care home background, good leadership and communication skills.



Preferred Skills



Level 3 Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.



Pay range and compensation package



£13.90–£14.45 per hour, competitive hourly pay with weekend uplift, fixed 2‑week rota (includes alternate weekends).
