About the Role
This role is ideal for a Senior Care Assistant with care home experience who is confident leading shifts and delivering high‑quality elderly care.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred elderly care
- Lead and support Care Assistants on shift
- Complete care plans and risk assessments
- Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns
- Support medication administration
- Ensure CQC compliance and care standards
Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant
- Care home background (elderly care essential)
- Level 2 Health & Social Care
- Good leadership and communication skills
- (Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards)
Required Skills
Experience as a Senior Care Assistant, care home background, good leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Level 3 Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
Pay range and compensation package
£13.90–£14.45 per hour, competitive hourly pay with weekend uplift, fixed 2‑week rota (includes alternate weekends).
