Senior UI/UX Designer – Maritime Digital Innovation | London office (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

We're recruiting a Senior UI/UX Designer for one of the most innovative names in maritime digital transformation — a fast-growing London product team building complex platforms that are changing how the world's oceans are navigated, monitored, and operated.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to make things look nice. It's for a designer who thinks in systems, challenges assumptions, and obsesses over how real users actually work.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the design of complex B2B platforms — creating seamless, efficient user journeys that solve real operational problems
- Working directly with product managers and developers to understand business challenges and translate them into elegant, functional solutions
- Owning and evolving design systems with an outcome-focused, business-driven mindset
- Presenting and defending user-centred decisions in a distributed, multicultural environment
- Taking projects from blue-sky concept through to process optimisation — with real ownership at every stage
What we're looking for
- Strong B2B product design experience — functional, scalable interfaces built for complex workflows, function over design is key
- A designer who leads with outcomes, not trends
- Someone with the confidence to take tough feedback and the conviction to push back when the brief isn't right
- Experience collaborating across distributed, culturally diverse teams
- Comfortable presenting portfolio-led work and articulating design decisions at senior level
