They’re now looking for a Sustainability Lead to play a pivotal role in embedding sustainability at the heart of major construction projects — influencing decisions, shaping outcomes, and driving real, measurable impact. What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Leading Project Sustainability – Acting as the go‑to sustainability expert for live construction projects, providing trusted advice and hands‑on support to delivery teams.
  • Driving Certification Success – Supporting and leading BREEAM, LEED and wider certification processes, ensuring targeted credits are achieved and risks are proactively managed.
  • Embedding Best Practice on Site – Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and reporting to champion environmental compliance and continual improvement.
  • Influencing Strategy from the Ground Up – Translating sustainability strategy into real‑world action, helping to embed ESG objectives into day‑to‑day operations.
  • Collaborating at Every Level - Working closely with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and internal teams to align sustainability goals and project outcomes.


Who They’re Looking For:


  • A Proven Sustainability Professional – Experience supporting construction projects within the built environment, ideally across complex or regulated sectors.
  • Certification Expertise – Strong working knowledge of BREEAM, LEED (or similar), with experience preparing, managing or leading assessments.
  • A Confident Influencer – Comfortable engaging site teams, senior stakeholders and clients — able to translate technical requirements into clear actions.
  • Technically Strong & Detail‑Focused – Skilled in environmental management systems, reporting, and producing high‑quality sustainability documentation.
