Role: Python Software Engineer

Location: Remote (anywhere from Europe)

Salary: Up to £80k / €90k base + equity

We're partnered with a well-funded startup that's building AI agents to automate operations in the consumer goods space. Small team, strong backers, and real traction with customers.

The Role

As a Python Software Engineer, you'll be designing and building intelligent, autonomous systems that solve real operational problems for growing brands. You'll own solutions end-to-end – from architecture and scoping through to production – working closely with product and engineering leadership. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership and direct influence over how the product evolves as the company scales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and building agentic solutions that reason, act, and learn independently
  • Owning the full solution lifecycle – architecture, MVP scoping, delivery, and iteration
  • Writing and reviewing code across a modern Python-based stack
  • Using AI coding tools as your primary development workflow
  • Collaborating closely with Product to identify opportunities and challenge assumptions
  • Keeping stakeholders aligned on progress, priorities, and trade-offs
  • Spotting issues early and re-aligning fast to keep delivery on track

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 4+ years building products in fast-paced startup environments
  • Python as a core language, with comfort working across the stack
  • Experience using AI coding tools daily
  • The ability to think in systems of intelligent, autonomous components
  • Strong ownership mentality – resourceful, independent, and outcome-driven
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar

Why Join

  • Competitive salary + equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Fully remote across Europe
  • 25 days holiday + local public holidays
  • Small, tight-knit team where every contribution has direct impact
  • Great benefits and regular team meetups

Fast-moving, AI-native, and high-impact – this role is for engineers who want to build autonomous systems that solve real problems, not just write code.
