Direct Ship Logistics Manager (EU)
Location: UK or Europe | Hybrid working
The Opportunity
We’re supporting an international brand-led business in hiring a Direct Ship Logistics Manager to take ownership of factory-to-customer deliveries across Europe.
This role focuses on managing shipments that bypass traditional distribution centres, ensuring products move directly from suppliers to customers efficiently, compliantly, and on time.
It’s a highly hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys working at the centre of operations — coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and keeping everything moving in a fast-paced environment.
The job:
• Manage end-to-end shipments from factory to customer across EU markets
• Oversee direct deliveries from both EU and international suppliers
• Ensure all shipments meet customer-specific and customs requirements
• Coordinate key shipping documentation including:
• Commercial invoices
• Packing lists
• Origin statements / REX declarations
• Link purchase orders to sales orders and support accurate invoicing
• Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Maintain accurate tracking and ensure all shipments are correctly invoiced and closed
What we need from you:
• Experience in international logistics, transport, or supply chain operations
• Strong understanding of EU road freight and cross-border shipping
• Hands-on experience with customs documentation and compliance
• Comfortable managing shipment data, reports, and operational processes
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
• Experience in retail, apparel, or FMCG is a plus
Why?
• End-to-end ownership of a critical logistics flow
• Exposure to international markets and complex supply chains
• A role that combines problem-solving, coordination, and process improvement
• Fast-paced environment with strong operational visibility
