The Role


You’ll work on a broad and intellectually stimulating caseload, with significant client contact and responsibility from the outset:


  • Case Management: Managing varied matters across health and social care, including regulatory and community care work
  • Advisory Work: Advising care providers and individuals on CQC regulation and enforcement, safeguarding, Coroner’s Inquests and funding disputes
  • Community Care & SEN: Representing individuals in EHCP and SENDIST appeals, Care Act matters and package of care disputes
  • Advocacy & Representation: Acting for clients in enforcement proceedings, Inquests and hearings; liaising with regulators and public bodies
  • Profile & Practice Growth: Supporting business development through client relationships, networking and marketing initiatives

  • Relevant Experience: Health and social care experience is essentrial, particularly CQC regulation, Inquests or community care law
  • Strong Technical Skills: Confident in written and verbal communication, case management and advocacy preparation
  • Client-First Mindset: Commercial, solutions-driven and comfortable advising both individuals and organisations
  • Ambition & Ownership: A proactive team player ready to take responsibility and grow within a specialist practice
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-evolving and challenging area of law, with a commitment to continuous learning
