Position: Contract Administrator

Location: Havant, Hampshire

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + £525/month Car Allowance + Healthcare + Bonus

Contract Administrator Job Overview

  • Supporting the Contracts and Project Management teams across major civil engineering projects
  • Assisting with programme monitoring, project coordination and reporting
  • Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Supporting commercial and contractual processes across live projects
  • Monitoring project documentation, progress and compliance requirements
  • Assisting with procurement activities and subcontractor coordination
  • Supporting project reviews and operational meetings
  • Developing an understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
  • Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme constraints
  • Working closely with senior leadership to gain broad operational exposure


Contract Administrator Job Requirements

  • Degree qualified within Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and business-minded approach
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious and eager to develop a long-term career within Contracts Management
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
  • Previous placement, internship or construction industry exposure advantageous
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
