About Evan Evans
Evan Evans Tours, part of The Travel Corporation (TTC), is the UK’s leading day tour operator. Since 1933, we’ve offered unforgettable sightseeing experiences across London, Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath, Edinburgh, and Paris. Our head office also serves as a passenger departure lounge for many of our tours.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within the Operations team to ensure the smooth running of escorted tours
- Preparing and checking all departure paperwork accurately
- Checking in guests upon arrival
- Welcoming guests on board coaches
- Liaising with venues regarding ticket arrangements
- Handling operational issues such as coach delays or guest queries
- Managing coach departures from venues back to London
- Maintaining clear communication and cooperation between the office team and venue teams
- Assisting with front desk coverage and additional operational tasks when required
Experience
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience is essential
- Passion for working with people and delivering excellent customer service
- Knowledge of venues or attractions is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
Working Pattern
- Contract based on 5.5 hours per week, with additional hours paid hourly
- Shifts scheduled based on availability and shared one week in advance
- Shifts may begin as early as 5:00am and finish as late as 10:30pm
- Tours operate 7 days a week, including weekends and Bank Holidays
- Flexible to work across different shift patterns
