Luxury Handbag Authentication Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-driven Authentication Specialist to join a growing luxury resale operation in the UK.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of both authenticating high end designer handbags and restoring items to the highest possible standard. Acting as a key point of contact on-site, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality, accuracy and brand integrity.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed authentication checks on luxury designer handbags
- Carry out multi-step deep cleaning and restoration to enhance product quality
- Research brand trends, materials and authenticity markers to stay ahead of the market
- Accurately document authentication decisions and product improvements
- Support the creation of internal authentication guides and resources
- Maintain high standards across all products entering the business
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience authenticating luxury handbags (essential)
- Strong knowledge of designer brands, materials and handbag construction
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Comfortable working across both hands-on restoration and analytical authentication
