A growing manufacturing company in Kent are currently looking to recruit a new Buyer to their small team.


Your role will include:


  • Taking responsibility for ensuring the timely and cost effective procurement of components and raw materials.
  • Support the wider supply chain team to maintain material availability, support production schedules and drive supplier performance
  • Create, issue and manage purchase orders for direct materials
  • Maintain accurate supplier and lead time data
  • Review material demand and planned production requirements to ensure appropriate stock levels
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Take a role in maintaining robust supplier relationships
  • Support continuous improvements projects


You will have solid Buying experience focussing on direct materials and will be comfortable with a site based role (North Kent).


Must have current UK Right to work and be in commutable distance.
