An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary to join a well-established and highly regarded professional services firm. Based in Edinburgh, this role sits within a collaborative Business Law team, offering exposure to a broad client base including private individuals, entrepreneurs and family businesses.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage Companies House filings including confirmation statements and dormant accounts
  • Maintain statutory registers and company records
  • Draft board minutes and support governance processes
  • Handle share allotments, transfers and dividend documentation
  • Incorporate new entities and manage registered office matters
  • Oversee company secretarial systems (e.g. Inform Direct)


Key Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience in a company secretarial role
  • Strong knowledge of UK statutory compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach


Hybrid working


This role would be on the basis of hybrid working of 1 day week work-from-home.
