Our client's Private Funds practice advises asset managers and institutional investors on some of the most complex and innovative fund structures in the market. Lawyers deliver high-value, technically sophisticated work across the full lifecycle of private funds, working closely with colleagues across the UK and global network. Recognised for both technical excellence and commerciality, the firm is a trusted adviser to leading fund managers and global investors.
You will advise a diverse client base, including private equity sponsors, infrastructure and real estate funds and sovereign wealth and institutional investors. Your work will cover:
- Fund formation, structuring and fundraising
- Investment and co-investment arrangements
- Carried interest and incentive structures
- Ongoing fund operations and regulatory matters
- Institutional and strategic investments into private funds.
You will collaborate with specialists across funds, financial regulation, tax, corporate and finance on complex, cross-border mandates.
The suitable candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in private fund formation and/or investment work, gained at a leading City or international practice. This role offers early responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with partners on high-profile and often first-of-their-kind mandates, alongside excellent scope to build your profile in the market.
