I’m currently working on a rare opportunity within one of the market’s standout finance platforms for an ambitious Associate / Senior Associate (2–5 PQE) looking to step into a genuinely sophisticated international practice.
This is a team that advises at the top end of the market across:
✔ Sponsor-led leveraged finance
✔ Acquisition / holdco / second lien / structured financings
✔ Fund-level finance (subscription / NAV / management lines)
✔ Private credit and alternative lender transactions
✔ Complex real estate finance / investment-backed structures
✔ Cross-border financings involving major sponsors, institutions and asset managers
The platform offers:
• Lean teams with meaningful responsibility earlier
• Genuine partner exposure
• Opportunity to run transactions and lead workstreams
• Broad financing exposure across private capital, sponsor and real assets work
• High-calibre, international work with genuine investment in associate development
The team hires carefully rather than frequently, so opportunities like this are uncommon.
Ideal background:
• 2–5 PQE
• Training / experience gained at a leading international, Magic Circle or top US platform preferred
• Experience across leveraged finance, private credit, fund finance and/or real estate finance
• Strong drafting / negotiation skills
• Comfortable taking ownership of matters and working directly with sophisticated clients
• Commercial, driven and collaborative
