We are looking for a forward‑thinking Demand Planning Manager to lead our forecasting strategy and bridge the gap between traditional S&OP and AI‑driven supply chain management. This mid‑level role reports to the Demand Planning Lead.

Forecasting & S&OP Excellence

  • Own and coordinate the full monthly S&OP cycle, including forecasting sessions and forecast accuracy reviews.
  • Own DTC and retail global forecast inputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and commercial alignment across all territories.
  • Translate account management EPOS data and buyer insights into precise operational order forecasts for retail customers.
  • Manage bottom‑up consensus and reconcile against top‑down financial targets, clearly articulating gaps, risks, and volume‑value opportunities.

Advanced Quant, Reporting & AI

  • Interrogate large, complex datasets, identifying metrics and outliers that move the dial.
  • Build and continuously improve demand planning reporting using AI and automation tools.
  • Automate repetitive manual data entry through AI agents or workflows.
  • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias measurement, embedding a culture of quantitative rigor.

Stock Risk & Supply Alignment

  • Actively manage stock risks across the portfolio, flagging demand changes to Supply Planning.
  • Monitor stock cover, aged stock, and write‑off risk, owning the Risk and Opportunities register.
  • Support range review processes to ensure clean transitions between old and new SKUs.

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the Demand Planning Executive team, setting priorities and developing technical and commercial capability.
  • Act as a strong cross‑functional collaborator with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Planning, influencing behaviour and driving alignment.
  • Communicate complex planning challenges clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders, focusing on recommendations.

What We Need From You

  • Strong retail demand planning background with experience translating EPOS and account‑level forecasts into operational plans.
  • Proficiency in manipulating and interrogating large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or BI platforms, comfortable with statistical forecasting methods.
  • Experience coordinating S&OP or IBP cycles in a fast‑paced consumer goods environment.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI or automation tools to improve reporting speed, accuracy, or insight generation.
  • High agency: build tools or processes to eliminate manual work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, synthesising complex data into clear narratives for senior audiences.
  • Leadership experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Interest in FMCG/D2C and using AI to help sustainable products reach more bathrooms globally.
