Description:

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Residential Conveyancer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, providing a high-quality and client-focused service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer looking to develop their career within a supportive legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • New build and shared ownership transactions
  • Handle files from instruction to post-completion with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct title checks, searches, and enquiries, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and firm procedures.
  • Deliver excellent client service, keeping clients updated at every stage of the transaction.
  • Support junior members of the team as required.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (CILEx).
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, SDLT, and Land Registry processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with keen attention to detail.
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional days for closure over Christmas
