A globally recognised pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Marketing Procurement Category Manager to support a series of high impact, business critical procurement initiatives.
Operating at the forefront of healthcare innovation, this organisation combines cutting edge science with a collaborative, people first culture, giving procurement genuine visibility and influence across the business.
This is a key interim appointment, offering immediate exposure to senior stakeholders and ownership of complex marketing spend across a global environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead end to end procurement activity across a broad range of marketing categories
• Deliver strategic sourcing initiatives across areas such as Creative Agencies, PR, Meetings and Events, Market Access and Data
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders to shape category strategy and challenge existing approaches
• Drive commercial value through supplier negotiation, performance management and innovation
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships across a global vendor base
Required experience:
• Proven track record in marketing procurement and category strategy delivery
• Ability to operate in an interim capacity, quickly embedding and delivering impact
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at senior level
• Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare or a similarly regulated environment is advantageous
• Degree and or CIPS beneficial
