Director of Sales – The Americas, Sales

Responsibilities
- Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new clients to grow business, shift market share and increase exposure for the property and the Mandarin Oriental Brand.
- Being the subject matter expert and thought leader on the assigned market or segment.
- Analysing, evaluating and monitoring account production and implementing sales action plans aligned with the annual marketing plan to meet sales team goals.
- Planning, participating in and coordinating sales calls, familiarisation trips, site inspections and hosted entertainment functions.
- Creating and implementing short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and maintain or grow the property’s market share position.
Qualifications
To be a successful Director of Sales – The Americas candidate, you will have strong organisational and multitasking skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and be confident in handling client enquiries and building positive relationships. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities and will be proactive team players with a flexible, solutions‑focused approach.
