Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful, growing small animal veterinary practice in the city of NOTTINGHAM (South), East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Full‑time permanent opportunity including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays or OOH.
- Provide surgical and emergency care using state‑of‑the‑art equipment such as digital X‑ray, ultrasound, EGC, ultrasonic dental, biochem, microscope and full surgical facilities.
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures and manage emergency and critical care.
- Support and mentor junior vets in the team.
- Participate in personal development and certificate study fully supported.
Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
- Registered with the RCVS.
- Experience in surgical procedures and emergency/critical care.
- Willingness to support and mentor junior vets.
Benefits
- Salary up to £70,000 per annum (subject to experience).
