Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a successful, growing small animal veterinary practice in the city of NOTTINGHAM (South), East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Full‑time permanent opportunity including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays or OOH.
• Provide surgical and emergency care using state‑of‑the‑art equipment such as digital X‑ray, ultrasound, EGC, ultrasonic dental, biochem, microscope and full surgical facilities.
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures and manage emergency and critical care.
• Support and mentor junior vets in the team.
• Participate in personal development and certificate study fully supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Experience in surgical procedures and emergency/critical care.
• Willingness to support and mentor junior vets.
