Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer
Location: Woolwich, London (SE18) – Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Pay: £21.20 per hour (PAYE) or £28.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 40 hours per week – 08:00 to 17:00
Contract: 5‑month minimum, temporary to permanent opportunity.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer to join a facilities team at a busy hospital site in Woolwich. This is a great opportunity to secure a long‑term contract with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- First response to chiller faults and breakdowns.
- Servicing and fault finding on air conditioning systems.
- Working on split systems and VRV/VRF units.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements.
Requirements
- F‑Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
- Strong experience with split systems and VRV/VRF.
- Proven experience with chiller fault finding.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently on a live site.
