An ambitious and fast-growing energy business is seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex industrial energy projects across the UK.


Working with energy-intensive clients, the role spans feasibility through to construction and handover, integrating technologies such as CHP, solar PV, and heat pumps.


You’ll support the development and delivery of energy projects across their lifecycle, taking ownership of defined workstreams, Ideal for a commercially aware project leader experienced in live industrial environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to early-stage project development, including feasibility, scope definition and site assessment across complex industrial environments
  • Help shape solutions that may integrate multiple technologies (e.g. CHP, solar PV, heat recovery, battery storage), ensuring they are practical and deliverable
  • Support delivery of multi-disciplinary energy and infrastructure projects within live industrial sites
  • Drive delivery across design, construction and commissioning phases within your scope
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers across mechanical, electrical and civil scopes
  • Attend site meetings and support day-to-day project coordination
  • Support safe delivery of projects within live industrial environments


Essential:

  • Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Process or similar)
  • Experience supporting or delivering projects within engineering, energy, construction or infrastructure environments
  • Experience across planning, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Understanding of project lifecycle from development through to delivery
  • Strong commercial awareness including budgeting, forecasting, and change management
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Clear communication skills and strong risk awareness
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
