Job Overview

Amazon Logistics aims to build a world‑class last‑mile operation and deliver orders quickly, accurately, and cost‑effectively. The European team seeks an experienced, innovative Process Engineer focused on standardisation, technology integration at Delivery Stations, and new innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration.
  • Lead and drive technology integration and standardisation in EU‑wide programmes and products, owning all layout integrations and optimisations in the assigned Delivery Stations.
  • Contribute to network standardisation via best‑practice sharing with EU counterparts.
  • Provide process expertise on engineering design: defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real‑estate implications from process requirements.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve processes and station designs, engaging and influencing key stakeholders.

A Day in the Life

The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end design for new delivery stations, optimise existing stations, present to leadership for approval, and work on automation programmes to integrate new technologies into legacy stations.
They will collaborate with operations, design and construction, launch and expansion, and safety teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong technical background in automated or non‑automated material handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or an equivalent STEM field.
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineering tools.

Additional Information

Enjoys domestic travel up to 25% of the time. Reports to the Manager of the Design Engineering team in the supported country.
