About the Role:As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and enhancing patient care. You will lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver exceptional care and maintain high standards.* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and implement best practices in clinical governance.* Develop and execute effective risk management strategies to safeguard patient welfare.* Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and improve service delivery.* Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.* Facilitate staff training and development to enhance team capabilities.* Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality standards are met.* Act as a key point of contact for patients, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:* Proven leadership experience in a nursing home setting.* Strong clinical expertise with an active nursing PIN.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.* Demonstrated experience in team management and organizational skills.* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
Desirable Skills:* Experience in a fully supernumerary role.* Familiarity with advanced risk management techniques.* Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:* Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active PIN.* Advanced degree or certification in healthcare management preferred.* Previous experience in a deputy manager role is advantageous.
