Real Estate Underwriter – Manchester (Hybrid)
We are currently recruiting a Real Estate Underwriter to join our Commercial Lines Underwriting team in Manchester on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and negotiate new and/or existing Real Estate business within your authority.
- Build and maintain excellent broker relationships through regular engagement.
- Apply pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices.
- Contribute to process improvements and support broker team ideas.
- Represent our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Experience within Property Owners / Real Estate is beneficial; other underwriting experience will also be considered.
- Claims experience is a plus.
- Sharp eye for detail and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers.
