Are you a Psychological Therapist or Psychologist committed to delivering high-quality therapy and interested in helping shape a developing specialist trauma pathway? We are recruiting a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our Complex Trauma Pathway within North Lincolnshire community mental health services. While the primary focus of the role is the development and delivery of specialist trauma provision for individuals with complex trauma and PTSD, you will also work therapeutically with a broader range of presentations commonly seen within community mental health services.
This post follows targeted internal investment after the successful pilot of our Intensive EMDR (iEMDR) programme. We are now expanding the pathway to reduce treatment waits, accelerate recovery and strengthen intensive trauma provision within community services.
The role includes contributing to four 10‑day intensive EMDR blocks each year, delivered through a coordinated team approach with psychologists, CBT therapists, wellbeing practitioners and peer support workers. Alongside this, you will provide weekly therapy within the pathway, including trauma‑focused work and evidence‑based psychological therapies for a range of presentations.
The pathway sits within a strong psychological leadership structure, with oversight from the CBT Clinical Lead and Consultant Psychologist.

- A defined caseload agreed through job planning
- Access to accredited CBT and/or EMDR supervision, alongside psychological supervision appropriate to professional background
- Clear psychological leadership from the CBT Clinical Lead and Consultant Psychologist
