A well-established Nationwide commercial HVAC contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their growing service team covering London.
This role is suited to a service-led engineer who is confident with reactive maintenance, fault-finding and working independently across commercial sites.
The Role
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response on commercial air conditioning systems
- Fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and refrigerant issues
- Working on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems and associated controls
- Minor repairs and component replacement
- Supporting commissioning works on new and replacement plant
- Working across commercial environments, including retail units, gyms and nurseries
- Completing job reports via a CAFM system
- Participation in a negotiable on-call rota
Coverage
- London & the South
- Engineers based in Central or West London are particularly well-suited from a coverage perspective
About You
- Proven experience as a Commercial Air Conditioning / HVAC Service Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Comfortable working independently on reactive call-outs
- Professional, client-facing approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Commissioning experience beneficial but not essential
Package
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
- Company van, tools and PPE provided
- Company mobile phone and credit card
- Door-to-door pay
- Jobs scheduled and managed by the office (no self-planning)
- On-call rota flexible, with plenty of overtime available
