Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Bristol City Centre (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Collaborating: Defining KPIs with senior managers and communicating data‑driven concepts across departments
- Developing: Building internal and external reports in Power BI and SQL to help colleagues understand performance and drive change
- Analysing: Planning and executing ad‑hoc analytical projects using SQL and Excel
- Consulting: Providing technical advice as the resident database expert and contributing to SQL and report reviews
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI
- Advanced Excel and Power Query
- Ability to write and optimise DAX
- Solid understanding of database and data‑model design
Desirable skills
- Python or Apache Airflow
- SSRS / Power BI Report Builder
- Experience with automation tools
