About the Role
Our client, a privately owned Trust & Family Office firm, is expanding their in‑house Legal team and is seeking both a Legal Counsel and a Senior Legal Counsel.
Responsibilities
- Advise and guide on legal and regulatory matters across the company.
- Provide legal advice to the Board and senior management.
- Work closely with client‑facing teams and external advisors to assist with any legal matters that arise in the general administration of complex, high‑value trust and fiduciary structures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in private practice or in‑house legal within a similar trust business.
- Good understanding of JFSC requirements and knowledge of trust and company law, UK tax law (ideally), and fiduciary structures and functions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn and stay constantly abreast of new developments in legislation or regulations.
