Overview

We are working with a large, international organisation on a complex transformation programme and are seeking an experienced S/4HANA – Coupa Integration Architect to support the Indirect Procurement workstream.

This role requires a blend of hands‑on integration delivery, architectural oversight, and strong Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process understanding. You will play a key role in designing, delivering, and supporting global integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA within a multi‑system enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and delivery of global Coupa–SAP S/4HANA integrations through cutover and hypercare.
Build and manage integrations using APIs (REST/JSON, OData), IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs, including error handling and performance optimisation.
Configure and support Coupa integrations (suppliers, master data, COA/segments, approvals, tax, receiving, invoicing, payment status).
Ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA MM and FI‑AP, including Business Partners, POs, SES, GRs, invoices, and GL/CC/WBS.
Work with middleware platforms such as CPI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.
Manage integration security, monitoring, and observability.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver pragmatic integration solutions.
Support testing (unit, integration, UAT), defect resolution, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven delivery of Coupa SAP S/4HANA integrations in large or global organisations.
Strong understanding of Indirect Procurement and P2P/AP process flows.
In‑depth experience with SAP S/4HANA MM and FI‑AP.
Hands‑on integration experience with: APIs (REST, OData), IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services
Knowledge of integration security (OAuth2, mTLS, certificates).
Experience with monitoring, observability, and CI/CD for integrations.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models.
Exposure to MDG, ServiceNow, or third‑party platforms.
Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, SolMan, or similar ALM tools.
Experience managing integrations across multiple waves or releases.
