Commercial Manager (Nephrology / Rare Disease)

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead the launch and growth of a rare disease treatment in the UK. The role focuses on developing and executing a cross-functional launch strategy, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful market entry and long-term brand performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across medical, market access, and global teams
  • Build and manage relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and external partners
  • Develop and deliver brand strategy, marketing plans, digital marketing, and campaign materials
  • Oversee agencies, budgets, forecasts, and market research
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and brand performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Support market access initiatives and promotional approvals
  • Lead, coach, and manage a field-based team, ensuring strong execution and development

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education (scientific or marketing preferred)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical brand management, ideally in rare diseases
  • Proven product launch experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems
  • Line management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
