Senior Product Lead

The Senior Product Lead plays a critical role in driving product success at SNAP. This role ensures customer needs are translated into high-quality product delivery through strong ownership of the product requirements, and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Leads
  • Ensure high-quality requirements and backlog readiness
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles
  • Act as a key link between customers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams
  • Define and document clear, high-quality business requirements and user stories
  • Ensure backlog items are well-structured, prioritised, and ready for development
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and on-site observations to gather insights
  • Identify risks, options, and recommended solutions
  • Map and improve business processes, removing non-value-added activities
  • Ensure alignment with product standards and best practices
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements
  • Generate product ideas through engagement with customers, partners, and the wider ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a product or equivalent role (logistics experience desirable)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Experience in requirements gathering and user story development
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping and improvement
  • Knowledge of Lean principles (TIMWOOD)
  • Ability to lead workshops and engage diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the Theory of Constraints (or willingness to learn)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent, recognised, qualification (desirable, not essential)
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
  • Valid passport for European travel
