Overview

A leading commercial interior design and fit-out specialist is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality workplace projects from concept through to completion. The company provides turnkey office design, refurbishment, and fit-out solutions, managing everything from consultation and design to installation across the UK.

With a strong focus on bespoke, people-centric workspaces, this role is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate all project stages including consultation, design development, procurement, and installation
  • Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met
  • Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and variations to maintain commercial control
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety and compliance standards
  • Lead site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder updates
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes
  • Ensure final handover is completed to a high standard, meeting client expectations

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out, interiors, or construction
  • Strong understanding of office design & build / workplace environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills
  • Strong organisational and programme management ability
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variations
  • Knowledge of construction processes, H&S regulations, and project delivery methods
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
