Fleet Administrator – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to support the Group Fleet department on a part‑time basis of 25‑30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5‑6 hours a day. We can offer flexible arrangements with a mixture of working in the office and from home once your training period (2‑4 weeks) is completed.

The requirements of the role are to support the Group Fleet team with the overall administration and coordination of department‑related matters. This will be achieved through managing project‑based activities, incoming queries and supporting administration.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and responding to incoming emails to the department email inbox.
  • Maintaining and developing the department intranet sites to offer a self‑service portal to over 200 group companies.
  • Raising capex and purchase orders across fleet.
  • Using and supporting the fleet database and telematics system.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers, offering a high level of support and strong attention to detail.
  • Managing company cars, ensuring correct information is uploaded to systems.

Person Specification

  • Team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence and influence at all levels with the business.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in using financial or accounting systems to create and manage capex and purchase orders.
  • High level of organisational skills.
  • Strong commitment to deliver results and make a meaningful contribution in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a well‑organised and logical approach to work.
