About the Role

We are looking for a commercially focused and resilient Deputy Head of Finance to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment at 2 Sisters Food Group.

This is a key leadership role within the finance function, supporting operational and strategic decision-making across site performance. Working closely with both the Head of Finance and Site Director, you will play a critical role in driving financial control, improving performance, and supporting the wider leadership team in a high‑pressure FMCG manufacturing environment.

This role would suit an experienced finance professional who understands the realities of large‑scale manufacturing – where operational challenges can directly impact weekly P&L performance and where agility, commercial awareness, and strong leadership are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Finance in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with operational teams to drive performance and cost control across the site.
  • Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide clear financial insight to support operational decision‑making.
  • Lead, manage, and develop members of the finance team.
  • Prioritise workload effectively within a fast‑moving FMCG environment.
  • Present financial information confidently to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant with 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong strategic planning and commercial finance experience.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to influence and collaborate across wider business teams.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including delegation and workload prioritisation.
  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure operational environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Work for one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers with a proud legacy – from launching the UK’s first ready meals to driving modern innovation.
  • Be part of a team that values integrity, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Work in a collaborative, values‑driven environment where your voice matters.
  • Enjoy a competitive salary, opportunities for real career development and a benefits package that includes:
  • Up to 33 days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays
  • Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid, offering confidential support services 365 days a year
