We are currently looking to find a Band 7 Modality Lead for the general radiology service to cover maternity leave, working with a team of Consultants, Radiographers, Radiography Department Assistants and Administrative staff.

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to supervise and assist specialist and junior radiographers within the team.

You will be responsible for managing your own workload and for the development of the Radiology service with the support of the Radiology Department Manager. You will participate in the extended working day service as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in managing staff
  • Evidence of master's level postgraduate education

Experience

  • NHS and team management experience

Practical knowledge

  • Robust knowledge of IR(ME)R and IRR 17 regulations
  • Experience with setting up service or equipment replacement
