Job Title: Senior Radiographer (Mammographer)

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver high-quality mammography services in line with NHS Breast Screening Programme standards
  • Perform mammography assessments with professionalism and patient care at the forefront
  • Assist Consultant Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners during procedures such as ultrasound and biopsies
  • Maintain high standards of communication and adapt techniques to meet diverse patient needs
  • Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and routine equipment checks
  • Ensure compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations
  • Participate in peer reviews and maintain training and competency records
  • Support the training and supervision of junior staff and assistant practitioners
  • Manage administrative duties in line with data protection and confidentiality standards


Requirements:

  • Qualified Radiographer with relevant mammography experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Strong understanding of breast imaging protocols and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
