What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain rates in the operational system based on the needs of both internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate and follow up with ocean carriers, ports, trucking companies, and overseas agents to ensure the timely release and delivery of cargo.
  • Process requests within the established timeframes.
  • Explore various transport options with shipping companies, trucking companies, and group agents, negotiating the best possible rates for clients.
  • Negotiate tariff rates.
  • Monitor and update rates in the operational system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for overseas agents and suppliers.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry.
  • Work in the US time-zone.

Who you are:

  • Fluent in English (at least C1 or more).
  • Has at least 1 year of experience in ocean freight operations.
  • Experience in an international company would be a plus.
  • Self-confident, team player, committed and results-driven.
