Senior Finance Manager – Tech Growth Business based in Reading (Permanent)
The Role
- Own the month end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and produce management accounts, providing clear commentary on performance.
- Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring integrity and control.
- Lead on statutory accounting, audit preparation, and compliance.
- Support budget holders with financial analysis and insight to drive decision making.
- Prepare variance analysis and review monthly results with commercial teams.
- Partner across the business to provide financial support, challenge, and guidance.
- Drive process improvements, embedding better controls and efficiencies.
- Get hands on with systems, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
Your Profile
- Solid background in management accounting and financial control
- Experience with statutory accounts and audit processes
- Confident working with budget holders and providing commercial support
- Hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable in a fast paced, scaling environment
- Strong Excel and systems skills, able to turn data into actionable insight
- A team player who enjoys problem solving and continuous improvement
