Overview
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our rapidly expanding AI team at Fletchers Solicitors. You will build high‑quality frontend applications that expose our Machine Learning and Large Language Model‑based systems to users in a clear, reliable, and intuitive way.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend applications for AI‑enabled products using TypeScript and React, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Translate complex AI‑driven workflows into clear, intuitive, and reliable user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with backend, data science, infrastructure, and product teams to gather feedback, scope requirements, and iterate on features.
- Support rapid prototyping while ensuring successful prototypes can be hardened for production use.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience building frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
- Experience working closely with APIs and backend services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong ownership, prioritisation, and delivery focus.
- Comfort operating in a fast‑paced environment where requirements may evolve rapidly.
- Strong communication skills and sound engineering judgement.
- Based in the UK, with the ability to attend in‑person team meetings approximately once per month.
- Fluency in English.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience working on data‑heavy or workflow‑driven applications.
- Exposure to Machine Learning or AI‑enabled products.
