Spirehouse are recruiting for a Locum Debt Recovery Solicitor on behalf of a leading law firm in Newcastle.

The Opportunity:

Working alongside an experienced team, the role will focus on managing a caseload of unsecured debt recovery matters, providing strategic legal advice and delivering effective case management for a range of financial institution clients.

The team specialises in delivering high-quality legal services to some of the largest and most innovative names in the financial services sector, achieving timely and pragmatic resolutions through litigation, negotiation and enforcement.

This is a locum role whilst the firm recruits on a permanent basis, expected to last at least 3-6 months.

The role will operate on a hybrid working basis, with flexibility into how the working arrangements may look. Individuals are invited to apply to discuss possible working patterns.

A competitive hourly rate is on offer. The firm are open to both full and part-time applicants.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 5+ years' PQE
  • Proven litigation and debt recovery experience with a strong understanding of unsecured debt recovery processes
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior fee-earners would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of enforcement procedures and insolvency processes is desirable
