£48,000 – £58,000 (OTE £65,000)

  • Company Van (Personal / Work Mileage)
  • 40 Hours per week (Paid Lunch)
  • 33 Days Holiday, rising to 38 after time served
  • Workshop-based role with 30% travel; commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Chepstow and surrounding areas

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.

Role Overview

Workshop based with occasional travel and some stays away, 1 week spent away per 6‑7 weeks. Service, Installation and Commissioning on electrical systems. Further technical training on systems such as ABB and Siemens.

Responsibilities

  • Service electrical systems
  • Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial environments
  • Conduct technical training on ABB and Siemens systems
  • Travel to client sites as required (approx. 30% of time)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Electrical engineering background
  • UK Electrical license
  • Experience in industrial automation preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of Siemens and ABB systems
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills
