Clinical / Counselling Psychologist – Mindplace Leeds (Face to Face)
Location: Mindplace Leeds, Great Exhibition Way, Kirkstall Forge, Leeds, LS5 3BF
Employment type: Permanent
Schedule: Part‑time and full‑time hours available. Centre opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm.
Session Requirements:
- Sessions available Monday to Sunday: Early shift 08:00‑16:00 and Late shift 14:00‑22:00.
- At least one shift per week must be a late shift.
- Each day includes 5 appointments.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence‑based intervention.
- Offer different models of service delivery: face‑to‑face, telephone, or video consultations.
- Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
- Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance.
- Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
- Offer ad‑hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
- Conduct one‑off assessments and referral recommendations.
- Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
- Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings.
- Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.
Essential Qualifications
- Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
- General adult mental health experience.
- At least 1 year of post‑qualification clinical experience.
Desirable Qualifications
- Training and accreditation in specialised areas of psychological relevance.
- Corporate experience.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
