Field Service Engineer (Recycling Equipment)
Location: North of the UK Territory (Manchester / Leeds / Liverpool / Sheffield). Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week. Salary: £20 to £21 per hour with overtime (1.5–2.0x). Responsibilities
- Repair, replace or reassemble damaged parts on recycling equipment at client sites.
- Perform electrical and mechanical service and fit components to meet specifications and standards.
- Provide door‑to‑door service and act as a customer‑facing representative.
- Participate in a call‑out rota: one week in seven.
- Travel across the North of the UK, including overnight stays when required.
Requirements
- Experience repairing and servicing recycling equipment such as conveyors and bailers.
- Comfortable with travel and temporary accommodation when needed.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
