About the role
The History of Science Museum is looking for an Engagement & Content Producer to help create engaging digital and in-person experiences that connect audiences with the Museum’s collections, research, and public programme.
Responsibilities
You will produce digital and printed content including social media, web pages, posters, museum trails, and event materials, while supporting the delivery and promotion of public events and audience engagement activities.
This is a permanent full-time post, working 36.5 hours per week (onsite in the office 5 days a week).
Due to the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a satisfactory Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to having access to restricted areas.
The role includes a moderate amount of activity, including lifting and moving items, so you must have a good level of fitness and be able to manage stairs.
Qualifications
You will have experience creating engaging content across digital and print platforms, alongside strong communication and organisational skills.
You will be confident using design software such as Canva or Adobe packages and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You will also have an interest in audience engagement and the cultural sector, with experience of digital communications, social media, or public-facing events being advantageous.
