About the Role
Principal Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a well-established and inclusive secondary school in East London from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human geography
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
- Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum
- Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
- Support enrichment activities and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
- Effective behaviour management skills
- A commitment to supporting student progress and attainment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
