Location: London, England
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own the technical success and real-world application of the platform across a number of our largest customers.
This is a highly strategic, customer-facing engineering role focused on building, deploying, and iterating on solutions… not support.
You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders (engineering, product, and leadership) to turn ambiguous problems into production-grade systems that influence real decisions.
Why this role:
- Opportunity to join and work with leading engineers from Anthropic, OpenAI, Palantir and Scale AI.
- Highly technical role with direct exposure to real-world outcomes
- Work sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and strategy
- High ownership and autonomy from day one
If you're an Software engineer/Full Stack Engineer who wants to move closer to the problem, the customer, and the decision making itself, this is worth a conversation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers
- Scope and break down ambiguous, high-impact problems into solvable components
- Design and build production-grade systems (APIs, data pipelines, integrations)
- Deploy solutions into real-world workflows that directly influence decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior engineers, architects, and executives
- Translate customer use cases into actionable product and engineering insights
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap and capabilities
- Help define and scale how this technology is applied across industries
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
- Experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or distributed systems
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and modern infrastructure
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with minimal structure
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (FDE) is beneficial but not required
