Salary: £45,000 starting salary rising to £47,500 after successful completion of 6-month probation

Shifts: Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm

On-Call: 1 in 5 rota

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing renewable energy and engineering business for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy operational environment, ensuring equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe working practices at all times.

Duties may include:

  • Fault finding and repair on electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive breakdown response
  • Working on pumps, motors, conveyors, control systems, valves, and associated equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 5 years' engineering experience
  • Background within FMCG, industrial, or water/wastewater environments
  • Multi-skilled capability with either electrical or mechanical bias
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
