Permanent, 36.50 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute meaningfully to commissioning plans that improve outcomes
  • Support the delivery of strategic commissioning intentions and delegated activities across Children & Families, including health, wellbeing and prevention services such as the 0–19 Healthy Child Programme and Best Start in Life Family Hubs
  • Build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders and providers
  • Work closely with internal teams, Birmingham Children’s Trust, NHS partners, and a wide range of providers to shape services that meet the needs of children, young people and families
  • Collect, input, analyse and interpret data to inform commissioning decisions, performance management and statutory returns
  • Support high‑quality service delivery through co‑production and quality assurance, including undertaking contract monitoring visits
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong governance and continuous improvement

  • Analytical capability and attention to detail – ability to interpret data, analyse performance and translate insight into practical recommendations
  • Commitment to co‑production and inclusive practice, valuing the voices of children, young people and families and supporting their involvement in shaping services
  • A proactive, organised and professional approach, able to plan own work, manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of governance
