Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Nottingham area, carrying out servicing, fault finding and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.
The Role
- Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
- Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
- Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
- Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH records
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
- Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, plus strong fault‑finding, diagnostic and repair skills
- ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
The Package
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at hourly rate
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform and PDA provided
- Salary: £41,000 – £43,000 per annum (DOE)
- Out of hours call‑out on rota basis; paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
- Monthly bonus
- OTE £50,000+ per annum
- 20 days holiday plus bank holiday (entitlement increases with service)
